Innovafest 2024 Antofagasta: Where innovation, science and technology come together

The second version of this important event will be held in October and expects to attract more than 2,000 people, with high-level speakers, networking opportunities and many other activities related to science, technology and innovation.
The largest innovation festival in northern Chile will be held in Antofagasta on October 24-25. In its second edition, Innovafest seeks to bring together the capabilities of regional, national and international entrepreneurs, companies, research centers and public and private institutions linked to science, innovation and technology.
The event will feature various technical talks, workshops and presentations by renowned regional, national and international speakers, who will participate simultaneously on the main stage and in activity rooms targeted towards diverse audiences. Attendees may also participate in multiple networking opportunities and business roundtables to enhance their ventures, SMEs and networks.
The main stage will also host several talks, seminars and discussion spaces on R&D advances, technology trends and regional success stories, as well as a space for the entire regional ecosystem to showcase what is being developed in our region.
In addition, 60 regional, national and international exhibitors will have stands at Innovafest to showcase their main projects, ventures, developments and innovations to the entire regional community. A food truck area and several other activities will be the icing on the cake.
Innovafest is an event for everyone! Regardless of your experience or previous knowledge, we will have different participation areas to fit your needs. Innovafest is organized by Parque Científico Tecnológico and Universidad Católica del Norte, with support from SQM Iodine Plant Nutrition, the event’s official sponsor. Other sponsors include Colbún, Centro Oftalmológico Láser, Programa Fortalece Pyme Antofagasta, Nodo Desierto Vivo, Consorcio Heuma and Agua Cúmulus, along with regional officials from the Sports, Economy and Energy ministries, Ceduc UCN Antofagasta, Pro Chile, the Center for Lithium R+D+i and Clúster de Minería. It will feature 60 stands of selected exhibitors to show their offering to the community, generate links, business, projects and learning.
