After four months of various activities, SQM Iodine Plant Nutrition launched its new Purpose, which seeks to clarify why we exist and align the organization around a common goal, while connecting more deeply with employees, customers and the community.
One year after the formation of SQM Iodine Plant Nutrition, we concluded The Path to Purpose, a process to reach out to different operations and countries to discover our purpose as a company.
This entire journey led to drafting a manifesto containing our Purpose, a guide to reinforce our global alignment and fulfill our goals and objectives.
During the process, we also reviewed our Values, adjusting them to the new purpose and including one more: Challenge, a duty. This new value calls us to have ambition to go further, to be resilient in the face of adversity, to believe in entrepreneurship as a way to find new ways of doing things and to encourage disruption, proactivity and creativity to propose “out-of-the-box” solutions.
