The international standard ISO 45001 was developed in response to the global concern for occupational health and safety in organizations and the need to establish a common framework for its management. In this context, it became essential to have a universal benchmark to evaluate organizations’ efforts to ensure reliable and adequate protection of workplace health and safety.

2024: move forward with obtaining ISO 45001 certification at the Tocopilla Port.
2023: The operations at the Salar de Atacama and the Lithium Chemical Plant (Carmen) obtained ISO 45001:2018 certification, meeting all the requirements of the standard. The certification is valid from February 9, 2023, to February 8, 2026. View certification here
