Operations in Chile

At SQM, we carry out productive operations at various mining sites in northern Chile, particularly in the regions of Antofagasta and Tarapacá. Using caliche and brine, two abundant mineral resources in these areas, we produce essential materials for key global industries. Among our main facilities are our operations in the Salar de Atacama, where the SQM Salar de Atacama plant and the SQM Salar de Atacama camp are located, as well as the Salar del Carmen plant in Antofagasta. These sites form the core of our mining activity in the region.
