Ultrasol® Calcium

Ultrasol® Calcium is the leading water-soluble calcium source. Calcium is essential for cell wall formation and stability and increases the plant's natural defense system against pathogens. Lack of calcium results for example in blossom end rot in tomato, pepper and melon, bitter pit in apple, soft nose in mango and black heart in Chinese cabbage. Do not mix with sulphates and phosphates in highly concentrated mother solutions to avoid precipitation of insoluble salts. Ultrasol® Calcium can be mixed with Ultrasol® Magnum P44, in certain quantities.

  • Ultrasol® Calcium is free of chloride, sodium and heavy metals.
  • It´s a free-flowing product that quickly dissolves in water.
  • Nitrate nitrogen is the most efficient nitrogen source for plant growth. Nitrate nitrogen is non-volatile and enhances the uptake of other cations (K+, Ca++, Mg++).
  • Ultrasol® Calcium is the only available source of fully water-soluble calcium and is indispensable for crops grown in hydroponics.
  • It`s application improves the soil condition and is beneficial for alkaline, saline and sandy soils.
